Still Life Drawing, Online, Wednesdays, 6/11-7/16

When: Wednesdays, 2 - 4 pm, June 11th-July 16th (no class July 2nd)

5 classes

Location: Online*

Level: This class is for beginners and students with previous drawing experience.

What to expect: You will learn the basic principles of value and composition using various still life photos. The use of actuial still life setups is highly recommended as well. The following techniques will be explored to help you develop your own unique style of working in graphite, charcoal, and ink.

  • Cross-hatching

  • Shading & blending

  • Blind contour drawing

  • Gesture drawing

Meditative exercises will help minimize inhibitions and fears associated with the creative process. When the class is determined to run, a supply list will be provided.
