Level: This class is for beginners and students with previous drawing experience.
What to expect: You will learn the basic principles of value and composition based on various botanical photos. Although, the use of actual plants is highly recommended. Graphite, charcoal, and ink will be used in class, but adding color will be encouraged. You will have the opportunity to explore the following techniques
Cross-hatching
Shading & blending
Blind contour drawing
Gesture drawing
Meditative exercises will help minimize inhibitions and fears associated with the creative process. When the class is determined to run, a supply list will be provided.
