Plein-Air Pastel Painting, 10/23
When: Thursday, October 23rd, 2-4 pm
Location: Audubon at Gilsland Farm, Falmouth, ME
Level: Beginner - Advanced
In this workshop, you will learn the basic principles of landscape pastel painting. For those with experience, this will be a good opportunity to apply your skills to the painting from nature. It will consist of the following:
Basic setup for plein-air painting, including the easels, pastels, and other supplies.
A short pastel painting demo.
One-on-one support from me, the instructor.
You can expect to gain an understanding of
Color Mixing
Applying pastels
Composition and value
Mindfulness tools will be used to help minimize inhibitions during the creative process.
The supplies list will be sent prior to the start of class,
Payment will be refunded if workshop is canceled due to rain.
