On the picturesque property of Sidle House Gallery, 20 Bartol Rd., Freeport, ME.
For the beginner, but those with experience are welcome as well.
In this workshop, you will learn the basic principles of landscape oil painting in addition to the following:
Basic setup for plein-air painting, including the easels, paint, and other supplies.
A short painting demo.
One-on-one support from me, the instructor.
You can also expect to gain an understanding of
Color Mixing
Applying paint
Composition and value
Mindfulness tools will be used to help minimize inhibitions during the creative process and a short group critique will take place towards the end of the workshop.
The supplies list will be sent when the minimum enrollment has been reached, at least a week prior to the start date.
Workshop fees will be refunded for cancellation due to inclement weather.
