Level: This class is for beginners and students with previous drawing experience.
What to expect: You will learn the basic principles of value and composition based on a landscape photo. Graphite, charcoal, and ink will be used in class, but you’re free to add color as well. You will have the opportunity to explore the following techniques
Cross-hatching
Shading & blending
Blind contour drawing
Gesture drawing
Workshop will begin with a short meditation to help minimize inhibitions and fears associated with the creative process. When the class is determined to run, a supply list will be provided.
